Are you where you want to be?

Musing: Evolution of Spirit, Body and Mind

It never ceases to amaze me where the Muse may take me on its wanderings.  I may be in the car or in the bathroom and there it is, thoughts  begin to evolve and I’d better have a pen and paper handy or they’re likely lost in the mists of my “fly by the seat of my pants” mind.

I haven’t mentioned yet that I’m a “fly by the seat of my pants” kind of woman, have I?  If that gives you the notion that I’m disorganized, then you’re right.  And yet there’s a part of me that’s very organized and even tends toward, dare I say it, control!  I guess I stand somewhere in the middle of those two opposites; a personality that’s happy in its contradictions.  I suppose I could say that there’s order in my chaos and I’m sure some of you out there will understand immediately what I mean.

Anyone walking into my craft room might think immediately “Oh my gosh, how does she work here?  How does she produce such lovely pieces of work?  (I’m a little egotistical in my humility too!!)  Yet those who enter my “Sanctuary” (a room in my house dedicated to meditation, prayer, quiet time, massage, Reiki, etc) are immediately aware of serenity, order, tranquility, healing and quiet energy even though it is quite full of “stuff”.

I’m never quite sure where I’m likely to end up as a thought process begins its merry journey through my mind and heart and soul.  Today I thought I was going to write about the fact that I’ve slightly modified my web page/blog site or whatever the technical term for this form of writing is, but I’ve ended up talking about me and how I function – or not:-).

But there, I’ve mentioned it so I need to explain.  With the help of my wonderful geeky, techie-minded husband (he’s the brains behind the set-up), I’ve made a slight change.  Over to the right of the page there is now a listing titled “Topics” and each of my entries will be listed under “All postings” in chronological date order, and then each one will also fall under its own topic.  Look out for some new topics that will appear soon: Poetry, Other’s Wisdom.  Join me on my journeys; it could be quite an interesting adventure!
