Vignette: Remembering Cindy

 

I managed to drag myself out of bed at 5.45am today.  I am not an easy morning person.  Once I am up and get going then I am okay.  It’s  the clawing my way up out of sleep and letting go of the sheer wonderfulness of being snuggled up that I find hard.  But I really want to create a routine for Thursday mornings; going to 8am Mass followed by a special Rosary with a small group.

Sacred Riding: My Harley Prayer Time

My husband and I own a Harley.  We love our Harley.  It’s a rich deep blue Ultra Classic that we bought almost two years ago.  Prior to that we had a Sportster for ten years.  I guess it would be more honest to say that Rich had a Sportster and I would ride it occasionally.  But in late 2006, as he approached a major deployment starting in 2007, Rich decided to sell his beloved Sportster and order the Ultra Classic for when he returned.

Dolphins: Return to Rimini

 

I returned to Rimini and “my dolphin” in 1991.  I don’t think I mentioned in the first story that after the dolphin show we stayed and talked with the trainers.  We found out that the big dolphin who I had my mystical experience with was called Speedy.
