A Night of Fun: Carrie Underwood

Back in the day when I used to watch American Idol, I saw this little country girl come out of nowhere and dominate the show from start to finish.  No matter how many people cannot stand Simon Cowell, many of his predictions about talented people in show business are uncannily right on target.  From the very start he said she would be one of the favorites to win, and after her performance during the top eleven finalist’s show he predicted that she would not only win but that she would go on to outsell all previous Idol winners.

Fantasy: The Dandelion Fairy

Tata was feeling very sad.  She sat alone in the garden and a tear rolled down her cheek. She looked around at all the pretty flowers and sighed loudly.

“Why me?” she cried.  “I have been such a good fairy.  I did not pull the wings off the ladybugs.  I gently brush the rose petals so they are velvety soft.  I always help the baby birds who fall out of their nests.”

Vignettes: Night Of Joy

For six years I have attended Night of Joy at one of the Disney Theme Parks. For those of you who do not know what Night of Joy is, let me inform you.  There are actually two nights that are spanned by this event and it usually takes place on the second Friday and Saturday in September.
