Musings: Like A Child

Sometimes I have to give myself permission to play.  I think it is important for the soul, for the heart, for the mind, and for the body to simply have fun.  Especially once we have reached the lofty maturity of adulthood!  We take on more and more responsibility.  Our lives get busier with duties.  We begin to wear ourselves down before our time.

Musings: Unblocking Again

I have been in a “dry spell” again:-(.  And yet I have so much I want to write about.  So many things running around my head.  But it all seems stuck inside and I haven’t been able to release it.  It is so frustrating. So let me start somewhere and see if I can unblock something.

Spiritual Growth: Friendship & Prayer

I am going to share a very intimate and personal story about a recent situation in my life.  This story involves a friend who, for privacy reasons, I will choose to call “Pat”.  I have known Pat for the six years since coming here to the States.  In that short period of time she has faced some severe trials and tribulations.
